LiveME is a Maine lifestyle brand I founded in 2009. It's a celebration of my home state and it all began with a t-shirt design I created for some friends attending a beer festival.

This is a branding project I’m particularly proud of. My younger brother August came to me looking to establish an identity for his new butcher shop. Collaboratively, we settled on the name Riverside Butcher Company, drawing inspiration from the shop’s location along the Damariscotta River. Fun fact: the prior tenant of the building for the last 40 years was a leathersmith (I still wear the belt that my dad gifted to me on my 16th birthday from Narragansett Leathers). Conveying QUALITY was definitely an important attribute for this new business. Also — I think it’s rather serendipitous that August set up shop in the same space that already had a history with cows .
For this project, I developed a comprehensive branding package, including a flexible logo system, eye-catching signage, hardworking print collateral, thoughtful apparel design, and a straightforward website to help launch his business successfully. The highlight of the project occurred when a customer from Iowa complimented the shop’s sign and inquired about the font used. To our surprise, it turned out to be John Downer (see last photo), the typographer behind the beautiful hand-lettered inspired type called “Brothers”.

CrateFull of Maine is a boutique mail order gift box company that features Maine-Made products from artisanal crafters and makers across the state of Maine. I founded this company with two other partners In 2015. As the Creative Director I developed the entire brand from scratch including the name, logo design, marketing materials and packaging. We drew inspiration from old wooden lobster crates for the naming, packaging and packing materials.

KIT NA Brewing is an award winning Non-Alcoholic Craft Beer from Portland, ME.
The Problem: KIT NA makes great beer but they didn’t have a clear direction on where to take the brand.
The Solution: We helped KIT find their voice and establish their edge as a beer that requires no excuses.

The Press Hotel is Potland Maine’s first boutique hotel ( part of the Marriott-owned Autograph Collection) and housed in the historic former Portland Press Herald newspaper building, which informs all aspects of its design. We created/developed the logo, brand voice, interior/exterior signage, website, promotional posters, and original video content featuring local artist Erin Hutton and her contributions to the hotel.
